Poor HP, you just can't keep a secret, can you? Some fortunate tipster had handed Engadget the goods on a whole boatload of new HP laptops and desktops. These new machines will be officially announced at next week's 2010 CES show. For now, you'll have to be satisfied with some specs.
First off, there's the HP Mini 210, a 10.1" netbook with an N450 CPU, GMA 3150 graphics, 1 GB RAM, a 250 GB HDD and a $280 price. The Compaq Mini CQ10 is another 10.1" Pinetrail netbook with the same basic specs as the Mini, it'll ship for $260.
There will also be a series of four new HP Pavilion Elites. We don't have the specs for all of them, but the HPE-180t is the most expensive model of the line-up. It's going to be a Quad Core i7 machine with a micro-tower design, 8GB of RAM, GeForce GTX 260 graphics card, DVI, HDMI, and VGA connections. It has a 460W PSU and a Pocket Media Drive bay. It'll retail for $1085. The cheapest Pavilion Elite will be the HPE-110t, which will go for $685.
There are many more HP machines heading to CES 2010, including the Pavilion p6570t series and the Pavilion Slimline series. We'll have full details on all of them after HP makes their official announcements next week. CES 2010 will start on the 7th of January 2010 and lasts until the 10th. Of course CES news is already pouring in. Read it in our CES 2010 section.
